About the Practice

Primary Office

The office is located at 90 Odell Hill Rd. in Conway, NH, inside of the old “Chuck Roast” building. For in-office sessions, please park in the upper parking lot, which is shared by Little Hands Big Dreams Daycare Center. When you arrive, send a text message to 603-545-9386, as the door to the building remains locked. Your clinician will let you in to the building at the time of your session.

Alicia J. Porkka, LICSW

I earned my Master’s in Social Work from the University of New Hampshire, Durham in 2018. Prior to pursuing my career in social work, I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Philosophy, also at UNH. It was during this time that I began to appreciate the intersection of psychotherapy and existential philosophy, and the early notions of Life Examined began to form.

I have worked in a variety of mental healthcare settings, including community mental health, in-patient substance use disorder treatment, and adolescent wilderness therapy. When I’m not working, I enjoy hiking, camping, swimming, and all other types of adventuring with my son and daughter.
